Simple peaked snow effect with icing

Perfect for festive cakes and cupcakes - simple, quick and  looks great!



  • Place marzipanned cake centrally onto a turntable if one is available, if not an upturned bowl will do.
  • Using a palette knife place a large dollop of icing onto the cake.
  • Lift the palette knife in short upward-ending strokes to create the peaks while spreading the icing quite thickly over the surface of the cake,
  • Decorate cake with silver sugar balls for a more festive finish (optional)
